Happiness


You don’t have to be a nice person to be happy. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t have to be rich and you certainly don’t need to be successful. You have to be accepting of yourself and those around you. No one is perfect and no one ever will be. Remember compliments and forget insults. Start and end every day positively. Deal with problems as quickly and efficiently as possible-then forget them. Accept your past. Stop blaming other people. Smile.

I’ve devoted today to being happy and remaining so.  I understand that life is never going to be all roses but I don’t care because I can love what I have and work for what I want.

* Start your day without annoying alarms, do you want your emotions of the day to be irritated ones? Invest in an alarm that will play your favourite songs. Most phones will do it ^-^

* Eat more fruit and chocolate. Fruit is refreshing, nourishing and good for you. Chocolate is luxurious and filled with happy chemicals. They both smell gorgeous too.

* Tidy your bedroom! I know I probably sound like your mother  but honestly, it’s where you begin and end your day. It’s where you relax, shouldn’t it be nice to be there?

* Think about what you wear everyday. This isn’t about fashion or looking good. This about how the clothes you wear give and impression on you. How do the colours make you feel? (and I’m not saying don’t wear black etcetera. Black is should make you feel timeless and classy,  not morbid and dull as people often say.) What kind of person do you feel like when you wear these clothes? This is hard to describe… It’s a little like when an actor wheres a costume they feel in more of the role, than before they were wearing it. Do you feel confident?

* Be confident. Trust your instincts. Listen to all the voices in your head and consider.

*Don’t expect anything of anyone else. This sounds a little mean, but really if you want something, you have to do it and find it yourself. If you want something of someone else, how will they know unless you tell them?

* Stop being tentative.  Be decisive and honest with yourself.

* Try to think of something that made you happy today and dwell on it. I don’t care if you’ve been working all day, have come home to more work, burnt your dinner and can’t sleep. There is always good somewhere-go and find it.

Once you find happiness, don’t let anyone take it away from you.
